My happiest moment this week was our little adventure to meet Daddy from work.
I know this does not sound remotely adventurous, but with you in tow even the most boring of activities can become the most wonderful adventure.
Our journey began with our 30min walk to the station (good for the weight loss mission, the chocolate consumed after probably not so good) you were happily naming as many things as you possibly could, even mastering words I had no idea you knew. I am so proud of my chatty little pumpkin, your speech amazes me everyday.
Then we arrived at the station and you were so excited! This was the first time you had ever been on the train and you were simply fascinated by the trains as we waited on the platform.
Once the train pulled in to the station and I said we were getting on you let out the most excited little squeal. The whole train ride you were just amazed. Such a simple thing but to you this was so much to take in.
Then it was a quick stop in the shop (for the chocolate) and we went to meet Daddy. You were so excited for our little adventure, but nothing ever gets a smile as big as the one you give to Daddy at the end of the day. It makes my heart melt every day.
So that's it my happiest moment. It may not sound like much to anyone else but I am at my happiest when I m sharing in your excitement. Seeing the world again through your eyes is really the most precious gift you could ever give Daddy and I.
