Happy Days

Dear Pops,

We have been so busy recently that my letter writing to you has been suffering.  I have been really enjoying linking up my posts for the #happydayslinky as it allows me to reflect upon our week and really see how much happiness I find in our time together.

 So here it is, our week;

Out and About

This week we havent got out as much as we should have. We have been out for a few walks, your favourite being our walk down to the shops and being treated to a Peppa Pig comic.  Then Yesterday was Daddies birthday so we popped to the shops with your Nana to get him a cake. You were so funny when we were picking the cake, desperate for me to pick the Peppa Pig one. Luckily for Daddy I had the final say and we left with a delicious chocolate one.

Fun at Home

We have had lots of visitors this week, an old friend of mine who has recently moved back to our town came round on Monday. She is such a kind, bubbly and thoughtful person to be around and she was full of such nice compliments for you. It is so nice to hear people singing your praises. It just fills me with pride. Tuesday an old work friend and her little boy came to visit. He is a year older then you but you just love being round other children so much. Thursday Nana and Grandpops came round, you adore them so much, so comfortable and confident around them and they love you to pieces. I love watching you with them, you all have such a special relationship. They are so helpful and supportive of us all, I really don't know what we would do without them sometimes.

Time for me

This is something I have decided I really need to work on. I am starting small, taking some time to work on this blog and going to the hairdressers today (I haven't been in six months so my hair is awful). But i have decided that in the long term I am going to enroll on an evening photography course and am currently contemplating whether or not to apply and do my masters. Watch this space.

Happiest Moment

This is my favourite part of this linky. It helps me to see how much happiness I find in the most ordinary of moments with you. This week my happiest moment came at bedtime. Daddy was taking you to bed and you said good night to me, and I said goodnight to you, I told you I loved you and you said "love you Mamma". You said "love you Mamma"!!! I'm quite sure my heart skipped a beat. Amazing. Im beeming ear to ear just thinking about it now. The. Happiest. Moment. EVER.

Next Week

We are going to your Uncle and Aunties Wedding, so excited about this! I do love a good wedding! Also your Daddy has the week off so looking forward to spending lots of time as a three but also sneaking off for a bit of time to myself.

I love you Pops

Love Mamma xxx
