Happy Days

Dear Pops,

This week we have been in Barcelona for your Auntie and Uncles Wedding. Its the first time we have travelled abroad with you and I had been so worried but I had no need to be. You were an angel and were so excited the whole trip. You were the most beautiful flower girl and Daddy and i were so proud of you. So heres what we got up to on our holiday

Out and about

Obviously being on holiday we did pretty good with this one this week! We flew out to the wedding a few days early and stayed at a resort on the beach so we had lots of fun swimming, going to the beach, playing in the playground, visiting a local castle and even a spot of shopping. The wedding was at a beautiful little castle in the middle of nowhere, the views were amazing. It was the most beautiful setting for a wedding. The wedding itself was a wonderful day. It was touching and so much fun. Perfect day for such a lovely couple. 

Fun at home

We obviously havent been at home but we did get to spend some quality time with Daddies side of the family. Which meant you got a lot of time with your cousin. He is 4 but was good with you, slowing down to walk with you and holding your hand. You love being around older kids, so eager to do what they do. It was lovely to see the two of you together.

Time for me

Thanks to having a whole week with Daddy around I did pretty good at this one this week. Lots of long baths, sitting on the balcony relaxing, lazing on sunbeds and having a good read. I feel so amazingly refreshed! Lets see how long that feeling lasts though shall we! 

Happiest moment

The wedding was beautiful and I am so happy for your Auntie and Uncle. Their ceremony was sweet and touching. My happiest moment was their entrance to their reception. Their names were announced and they walked it to the biggest cheers. They were obviously overwhelmed by this reaction and this only spurred everyone on to cheer louder and louder. The room was filled with such genuine happiness for such a wonderful couple it really was such a special moment.

Next week

Is halloween! Woo hoo! I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time in America as a child and have such brilliant memories of halloweens spent there that i am keen to try and replicate some of that magic for you Pops!  Also you are staying overnight at Nannas one night so Daddy and I can go out and even have a lie in the next day. Im looking forward to a night out with Daddy but am ridiculously excited about staying in bed the next morning! 

Im sure ill miss you but you love being Nanna and Granddads so much that i know you will enjoy every second of your sleepover!
