Dear Pops,
Last month I wrote a list of my favourite moments where you had made me smile or laugh. My favourite giggles. I enjoyed writing that post and love recording all your quirks and silly moments. I know that I will enjoy reading these in the future and that they will bring a smile to my face and hopefully to yours too. And as you seem to be changing daily and making me smile and laugh everyday I decided to make the list of my favourite giggles a monthly thing.
So here it is, my favourite giggles this month;
1. That you keep telling me to be careful, usually after you have carefully placed a toy behind me redy for me to trip on
2. That you have developed a fake laugh that you use to join in whenever anyone else is laughing.
3. That you will tell anyone who will listen that you have just popped. And you do so EVERY time you pop. So ladylike.
4. That you seem to have developed a selfie face? You do this strange pouty face whenever I try and take a selfie with you.
5. You have learnt to say 'boy' and like to point out anyone who you deem to be a boy. Unfortunately your not always so accurate in your assumptions, sorry lady at sainsburys.
6. You call for your toys when you can't find them (even though they are right in front of you) this morning dolly seems to be constantly evading you, all I have heard is "DOLLY! Where arrrrrrrr youuuuuuu!" And then finally "I found Dolly!"
7. You are really starting to be able to communicate your wants and needs, today's was "mamma colouring!" Your reaction when you desires aren't immediately fulfilled is not quite so precious though.
8. That you try to play hide and seek. You can only count to two and just repeat this until you feel enough time has passed before you declare "where are you!" Of course you already know where I am as you were peeping through your fingers the whole time.
9. You are understanding the difference between big and little. Although I wasn't so proud of this when you kept referring to my belly as big earlier in the week.
10. You made friends with a little boy at a soft play centre this week and kept puckering up to kiss him. I thought it was cute. Daddy didn't! I think your in for a tough time when you're a teenager!
So thanks Pops. Thanks for making me smile and laugh everyday. You are funny and silly and occasionally accidentally offensive. But I love my cheeky girly so much.
All my love
Mummy xxx
